Webinar UI/UX at Undhiksa by Ida Bagus Kerthyayana Manuaba, Ph.D

One of CS lecturer, Ida Bagus Kerthyayana Manuaba, PhD, has been invited to become a guest lecturer at Undhiksa Sharing Session on the 17th of July 2020. The webinar was discussing “The Importance of User Experience”.

User experience (UX) design is the process used by the design teams to create meaningful and relevant experiences products for the users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function. While UI stands for User Interface. So, why this is important for a system developer? Because we don’t want a “great UI, poor UX” or a “great UX, poor UI” in our system. The system developer should aim for a balance between UI and UX, which means “great UI while also great UX”.
