Teaching the Digital Technology Landscape in Indonesia for Macquarie University Students

November 19, 2025. BINUS University International hosted an insightful academic session titled “Teaching the Digital Technology Landscape in Indonesia” for visiting students from Macquarie University, Australia. The event took place on November 19, 2025 at the FX Campus, a strategic hub for BINUS International’s global engagement and interdisciplinary learning activities.

The session was led by Feri Setiawan, Ph.D, a lecturer in Computer Science at BINUS University International known for his expertise in distributed systems, cloud technologies, and digital innovation ecosystems. Dr. Setiawan delivered an in-depth overview of Indonesia’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, highlighting key developments in technology adoption, government digitalization initiatives, and the vibrant start-up ecosystem that has positioned Indonesia as one of Southeast Asia’s key digital economies.

Throughout the lecture, Macquarie University students were introduced to several pivotal themes:
