Visitation Activity – Priority Research Downstreaming Program: Technological Advancement at Polinema Malang

The State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema Malang), Indonesia, hosted an important visitation event on October 24–25, 2025 as part of the Priority Research Downstreaming – Technological Advancement Program. This national initiative aims to strengthen Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem by accelerating the transformation of research results into real industrial and societal applications.

The event brought together leading researchers, industry partners, and government representatives to evaluate and support the development of high-potential technological products. It also facilitated collaboration among academic institutions to ensure research outputs can continue to be refined and commercialized effectively.

One of the notable contributors in this program is Dr. Ida Bagus Kerthyayana Manuaba, a distinguished lecturer and researcher from Computer Science, BINUS International. Dr. Manuaba serves as one of the team leaders responsible for driving forward key research products within the initiative. He collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams from various universities across Indonesia, working collectively to turn technological innovations into impactful solutions.

This collaboration highlights the growing synergy between Indonesian universities as they strive to enhance national competitiveness in science and technology.
