Recap of the Research & Industry Expo at BINUS Indo Pacific Forum, Bali
The recent Research & Industry Expo, part of the BINUS Indo Pacific Forum held at The Stones, Bali, on August 28-29, showcased the innovative work of 12 dedicated researchers. The event highlighted the contributions of Dr. Rinda Hedwig, Winda Astuti, Ph.D., Yosica Mariana, Nunung Nurul Qomariyah, Ph.D., Feri Setiawan, Ph.D, Diana Lo, PhD., Dr. Dwiyantari Widyaningrum, Dr. I Gede Putra Kusuma Negara, Denzel Polantika, Christian Harito, PhD., Marcel Saputra, Elioenai Sitepu, Ph.D., and Dr. Nur Afny Catur Andryani.
These researchers collectively presented a total of 18 research products, demonstrating a broad range of innovation. Among the products featured were the Chromebook Digital Library (Chromebook PusGita), Indonesia Tempeh Machine (InEM), previously known as i-TempeH, Non-Invasive Kidney Disease Detector, Automatic Peristaltic Condition Identification Based on Intelligent Embedded Stethoscope System, and Automatic Lung Diseases Identification Based on Intelligent Embedded Stethoscope System. Other notable innovations included Anthroscales & Tumbuh Hebat, NuMed AI: A New AI-Based Telemedicine System, Low Sugar Edible Crystals, Low Sugar Marshmallow, BeeCo: Natural Cleaning, Personal Hygiene, and Soap, Encapsulated Phycocyanin, Indoor Positioning System, CEL Scope (Computer Engineering Laboratory Digital Microscope), Bee Braille Nusantara, Digitally Cosmetic Prosthetic Finger (Digisthetic Finger), Cursor to Improve Device Interaction for Individuals with Disabilities, DriveWave – AI-Based Communication Display for Automobile, and AI Powered-Pediatric Teledermatology.

The expo also opened doors to potential collaborations for further research development with various prestigious institutions and organizations, including the Ministry of Investment (Indonesia), Apple Academy, Microsoft, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), University of Melbourne (Australia), Mahasarakham University (Thailand), Burapha University (Thailand), Mariano Marcos State University (Philippines), Universitas Dhyana Pura (Indonesia), Universitas Negeri Semarang (Indonesia), and Universitas Padjajaran (Indonesia). This event marked a significant step in fostering international research partnerships and innovation.
