Campus Visit from SMA Regina Pacis Bogor

On June 6, 2024, Binus University International’s FX Senayan campus welcomed a large group of students from SMA Regina Pacis Bogor for a special campus visit workshop. The workshop offered a unique opportunity for the high schoolers to explore the various academic programs Binus University International has to offer. The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s diverse academic offerings. Students were divided into groups and rotated through various faculties and programs, gaining valuable insights into each field of study.

In the computer science program, the SMA Regina Pacis Bogor students were treated to a unique and engaging experience. Instead of a traditional lecture, they participated in an interactive workshop centered around a captivating mini board game called “Throne of Elements.” This exciting board game was created by a Binus University International alumnus who develop and launch their own start-up company, Aqua Terra Ventus. The game’s theme likely revolved around elements and their properties, making it a perfect fit for the computer science program. The gamified approach provided a fun and interactive way for them to learn about core computer science concepts or problem-solving techniques especially in game development.

This campus visit workshop undoubtedly sparked the curiosity of the visiting students. Binus University International’s commitment to innovative and engaging learning methods was surely on display.
