Profile & Qualification

Profile & Qualification:

Annapurna Sinha is a Lecturer in the International Communication Programme at Bina Nusantara University International. Her research interest spans the areas of communication for development and social change, community media, gender and multiple literacies. She obtained her PhD in Communication from Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad, India. She holds an MPhil degree in Media Studies along with dual Masters degrees in Mass Communication and Economics, and she is an Economics (hons) graduate. Before choosing to become a full-time academician, she worked as a mainstream journalist with leading business dailies in India, including The Economic Times, Business Standard and Business Bhaskar. She joined Binus University International in 2022 as a Subject Content Coordinator (SCC) who is responsible for teaching courses and syllabus design along with the Binus Catur Dharma components including Teaching, Research and Publication, Community Service, and Personal Development.
