Article-1: What is a System?
A system can be seen as a combination of entities that form collaborations between them in order to achieve particular goals. For example a Weather Information support system may consist of: the weather sensors, aircrafts, ships, computers, communication peripherals, software, and operators that are interrelated each other to produce end products – Weather maps or Weather information.
The above illustration of Weather Information System shows that each element in the system can not be seen or working as separate parts, as the system’s objective will not be achieved effectively with lack of one system’s component. Instead it should be seen as one integrated structure. [SMT]
