Guest Lecture on Innovative Technologies by Prof. Naveen from La Trobe University at BINUS International

On February 19, 2025, the Business Information Systems (BIS) students at BINUS International participated in an engaging guest lecture titled “Emerging Technology That Will Transform Our World,” delivered by Prof. Naveen from La Trobe University (LTU), Australia. Taking place at the BINUS International campus in fX Sudirman, Jakarta, this session aimed to foster awareness and dialogue about revolutionary digital trends that will influence the future of employment, education, and global commerce.

The presentation explored various cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Quantum Computing, Smart Systems, and Edge Computing, providing students with a thorough understanding of the advancements poised to reshape international sectors. Prof. Naveen highlighted both the technological potential of these innovations and the social implications they may entail, urging students to aspire not only to be consumers but also to be developers of ethical and inclusive technological solutions.

Additionally, this event served as a valuable chance to familiarize students from the B2028 and B2027 cohorts with the Double Degree program available with La Trobe University, showcasing LTU’s significant involvement and collaboration with BINUS International.
