HIGHLIGHTS: Rappler Indonesia at Binus International

JAKARTA, Indonesia – “We are all connected,” Rappler CEO Maria Ressa told Binus University students in Jakarta on Tuesday, March 17. “If you come together, you can push change bottom up.”

The statistics speak for themselves: Jakarta is the world’s number one Twitter city. One fourth of the population of Indonesia is on Facebook. Indonesia is a social media country.

How can Indonesia’s youth better use social media to effect change? To harness it for social good? To create an Indonesia that is strong, prosperous, and keren (cool)?
