Damba Permatasakti is an experienced academic and a versatile multidisciplinary designer, currently serving as a faculty member in Graphic Design and New Media at BINUS International. Holding a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from Coventry University, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and New Media from BINUS University International, Damba integrates visual communication, social media, and experimental mediums to create engaging and innovative designs.
Her research primarily explores visual communication design, typography, and cultural heritage. Throughout her career, Damba has been awarded a full scholarship to pursue her Master’s degree in the UK and was selected for the prestigious Australia Awards Fellowship Program, participating in the “Global Impact through Journalism and Digital Media” project.
Passionate about combining creativity and impactful social media strategies, Damba actively integrates these elements into her teaching practice. Her goal is to empower students and contribute positively to society through thoughtful and meaningful design education.
