Comm Space

Comm Space is a collaboration platform for Communication students Binus University International, where they can share their knowledge and concerns and channel their creativity related to creative industry especially in the field of communication. The main objective of the event is to train student to work in a real-life situation to practice their critical thinking, public speaking, teamwork, and networking skills. The first edition of the event took place on November 23 and 25, 2020.  The event consists of two main programs as listed below:

1. 5-minute Social Campaign Speech. It is a national-level competition on social campaign through a 5-minute persuasive communication. Competitors are invited from public and private universities across the country. A panel of 3 judges representing Binus and media industry will review for the competition.
2. Student forum: Youth for Peace Journalism. It is a sharing forum on youth voice about journalistic practice in the age of disruption and how they can propose ideas for the future of journalism in Indonesia. The speakers will be student representatives of journalism program streaming from selected universities including Comm BI. A keynote speaker from news media company is present too.
