Discussing Crisis Communication with Ayu Kartika Dharmaiswari from Maqnifique Indonesia

Public Relations Consultant at Magnifique Indonesia Ayu Kartika Dharmaiswari (Kartika) took some time out of her busy schedule to deliver a guest lecture in one of the classes in the Communication program, Binus University International.

Kartika, who is an alumnus of the program, shared her experience in the public relations industry with the students of public relations streaming course Crisis Communication and Media Relations taught by Dr Annapurna Sinha.

Kartika shares her experience in handling corporate crisis as a PR officer

She has been working as a Public Relations Professional for three years. During her career, she has worked with leading clients, including Sony Indonesia, Fita, Dekoruma, JOOX Indonesia, Make Over, and Vidio from various industries, such as tech, entertainment, beauty, and lifestyle.

Students enjoyed listening to her first-hand experience of handling crises for her clients. They actively participated in the tasks given by Ms Kartika during the session and analyzed real-life crisis cases.

The session was informative and fun for the students who inspire to become public relations professionals shortly.

They learned about various phases of crisis and what public relations activities are required at each step in the mitigation period.
