December 2021, H&M just dropped another collaboration collection and this time they partnered up with The Smiley. The nostalgic positivity yellow symbol released a streetwear collection with the fast fashion brand, H&M with the aim to put a smile on consumers’ faces. 

Smiley x H&M pieces are constructed using sustainable materials bringing the 90s feel in neutral hues like turquoise and purple, not forgetting the Smiley’s signature yellow. The duo’s collaboration is comprised of joggers, graphic tees, hoodies, and puffer jacket. Here consumers will see H&M all Smiley with the Smiley face on many pieces. Most items were made using recycled cotton blends melding modern silhouettes with a touch of retro and 90s. 

The collection is made for unisex offerings with a dripping smiley face and a tagline ‘Give love back’. Aside from relaxed streetwear pieces, Smiley x H&M collection also features key chains and accessories like knitted beanies, chunky jewelry, and necklaces. Also, the fun effect of the tie-dye hoodies livens up the consumers’ mood, inducing the Smiley positivity and putting a smile on their faces. 

Originally the collection was priced at $5 – $35 USD, but when they come to Indonesia some pieces aren’t made available in the market and that it was priced at Rp. 199,900,00 – 549,000,00.
