The exhibition showcases the original manuscript of The Little Prince.

The Little Prince is not the fairy-tale that Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wanted to tell. Written between 1941 and 1943 in New York, when the Second World War was raging, is it even a book for children?” stated in the brochure.

A bit of a background, Antoine wrote the book by drawing on the eternal years of childhood made up of simple joys and imagination. “The work is a manifestation of the wonder of the world seen through the eyes of a child”. It is believed that in the story he draws a porous line between childhood and adulthood. The book itself has sold two hundred million copies over the past 75 years in almost 500 languages and dialects. The global phenomenon is also seen abound in the adaptations of the work in musical, theatrical, and audiovisual.
