September 20th, 2021 – FYP BINUSIAN 2025: Fashion Design Program had a chance to have a talk with three Alumni of BNSD.

Ms. Grasheli Andhini and Mr. Dicky Maryoga Hutadjulu were joined in a hybrid mode both online and online through Zoom along with Agatha Aprilia (Fashion Design Alumna), Faustine Ameylia (Fashion Management Alumna), and Nabila Kaulika (Fashion Management Alumna) sharing their experiences and struggles throughout their study in BNSD to the new students B25. The session was opened with the Alumni sharing their current activities and next journey and students were actively asking their seniors for some words and inputs making it an informative yet enjoyable casual sharing session between the seniors and juniors of BNSD Fashion.

To sum up, independent, creativity, and persistent are the personality to have for those entering the fashion world as the three shared. Agatha added that process is also important, as she would keep her journals full of ideas and designs wherever she goes as to keep all the memories and creativities to produce a satisfying result.

Faustine, Nabila, and Agatha all showed that studying Fashion in uni would not limit their future career and capabilities. On the other hand, the exploration they had throughout the studies with the courses as well as the extracurricular activities allowed them to go beyond fashion design and entrepreneurship. They have touched some other field, such as graphic design, teaching, to music production.
