CIDER BINUS International Participated in the Launching of Embedding Circularity Guidelines

On December 18, 2024, CIDER BINUS International participated in the launching of the Embedding Circularity Guidelines, organized by Impact Hub Jakarta. The event aimed to promote sustainable entrepreneurship by providing practical strategies for Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) to integrate circular principles into their programs.
The guidelines, adapted from the global Embedding Circularity: A Toolkit for Incubators and Accelerators, were tailored to Indonesia’s unique entrepreneurial ecosystem, making it a relevant resource for local organizations and startups. Earlier in 2024, the CIDER team, together with CIDER students and alumni, joined the Peer Development Circles (PDC) program to pilot the guidelines’ recommendations, which helped shape the localized version of the toolkit.

Key Highlights of the Launch Event
The event featured:
- A keynote speech by the Managing Director of Impact Hub Jakarta, while discussing the process of adapting global guidelines for Indonesia.
- Panel discussions with alumni of the PDC program and ESO representatives, who shared real-world applications of circularity principles.
- Networking opportunities with key stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including startups, ESOs, and corporate representatives.

Raissa Almanda, the Head of Entrepreneurship & Incubation at CIDER BINUS, spoke at the event, sharing insights on embedding sustainability principles early in a startup journey.
