Building Skills and Networks for an Inclusive Digital Future

As the world moves deeper into the AI era, equipping women and youth with both hard and soft skills has become increasingly vital. Technical proficiency must go hand-in-hand with leadership and communication capabilities to succeed in today’s tech-driven environment

Recognizing this need, SheCodes Society has made it their mission to empower women by developing the essential competencies required in the tech sector. Since its founding in August 2024, the organization has launched initiatives such as coding workshops, leadership training, and public speaking sessions for aspiring women in technology.

In collaboration with IAIS—an organization actively championing the advancement of Indonesia’s AI industry and community—SheCodes Society created this event to provide women and youth with greater access to education, opportunities, and recognition in the industry.

Shaping a Future of Inclusive Innovation

The “Celebrating Women in the AI Era” event marked more than just a celebration of Kartini Day; it embodied the ongoing journey toward a more inclusive, innovative digital landscape through knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and empowerment.

As the AI field continues to evolve, initiatives like this remind us that supporting women’s leadership is not just a matter of equality. Rather, it is essential for building a creative, resilient, and forward-thinking society.

Ultimately, with more spaces that prioritize empowerment and inclusion, the spirit of Kartini will continue to inspire generations to come.
