BINUS UNIVERSITY Ranks Tied for No. 2 in Indonesia in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025

Jakarta, October 9, 2024 – BINUS UNIVERSITY, as a world-class university, expresses its gratitude for the appreciation received from the Times Higher Education ranking . BINUS UNIVERSITY is proud to announce the appreciation obtained in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025. Based on the report from THE World University Rankings 2025 website, BINUS UNIVERSITY managed to achieve positions 1,201 to 1,500 in the global ranking, and tied No.2 of the best universities in Indonesia. This proves the best commitment in providing quality education and enhancing academic excellence.

Times Higher Education assesses more than 2,000 educational institutions in 115 countries around the world. The evaluation process considers five key areas, namely Teaching (learning environment), Research Environment (volume, revenue, and reputation), Research Quality (citation impact, research strength, research excellence, and research impact), International Outlook (staff, students, and research), and Industry (revenue and patents). This makes BINUS UNIVERSITY the second best university in Indonesia to be included in this ranking.

This recognition is an appreciation of BINUS UNIVERSITY’s efforts in providing education in accordance with the standards of quality, quality, and assessment set by Times Higher Education,” she said.
