Welcoming BINUSIAN 2023 in the First Year Program

BINUS INTERNATIONAL and BINUS Northumbria School of Design is currently conducting the First Year Program (FYP) for BINUSIAN 2023. The FYP is designed to welcome the new students and further introduce them to BINUS, including the curriculum and study method, as well as its vision, mission, and values.

Divided into two batches, the FYP was held from 26 August – 2 September 2019 (Batch 1) and 4 – 11 September 2019 (Batch 2) at BINUS JWC campus and BINUS fX campus. Later, the FYP will be concluded with the Inauguration on Saturday, 14 September 2019, at BINUS @Alam Sutera campus.

Several inspiring and informative activities are being held in the FYP, such as BINUSIAN & My Campus talkshow, BINUSIAN & Campus Life Journey session, Say No to Drug Abuse seminar, Emergency Management session with Pemadam Kebakaran Indonesia, as well as program curriculum, study abroad, and partner universities briefing. Furthermore, the first-year students also participate in fun and engaging activities like amazing race, campus tour, student club expo, group performances, and yel-yel competition.

Petrus Lakonawa, the Student Club & Activity Center Section Head at BINUS @Senayan, said that the FYP is also held to provide a warm welcome to the first-year students so that they can feel at home. Through these activities, Petrus said the students can also get to know more about each other, the upperclassmen, and the faculty which can make them feel more comfortable in the campus.

“By meeting each other and the faculty members, as well as feeling comfortable in the campus, the students can get a better learning experience, so that they can study well and graduate on time in the future,” said Petrus.
