BINUS INTERNATIONAL Hosts Bournemouth Immersion Trip to Indonesia

Bournemouth University will hold Destination Indonesia 2018, an immersion trip where several students from Bachelor’s degree to Ph.D. programs will visit various places in Jakarta, including the BINUS JWC Campus and BINUS fX Campus, from 2-9 June 2018.

BINUS INTERNATIONAL is hosting this immersion trip as a partner in the Double Degree program. Previously, BINUS UNIVERSITY and Bournemouth University also hosted the Second Annual Global Festival of Learning ASEAN 2017 – a two-day event that celebrated learning through showcasing Bournemouth University’s research and expertise in a wide variety of topics for international partners and a global audience.

At BINUS JWC and fX Campus, the immersion participants will learn about Indonesia’s history, how to do business in Indonesia, Indonesian culture, Indonesian language, and even how to play angklung (bamboo musical instrument). They also will visit various places such as Go-Jek headquarters, the EMTEK office, Jakarta Smart City, Galeri Indonesia Kaya, Lazada Indonesia, the British Council, and ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC).

“We hope this event can strengthen the partnership between BINUS and Bournemouth University, as well as expand the knowledge and networking of the two universities’ students,” said Rokoyah Andariani Amin, the Overseas Program Manager of BINUS INTERNATIONAL.
