For Lecturers
Paper Proofreading
All papers for publication bearing the BINUS INTERNATIONAL name must be submitted to ELS for proofreading. This can vastly improve the quality of a paper and furthermore improve its chances of publication. Please note that all proofreading is subject to ELS Proofreading Guidelines and the responsibility for timely submission is the author’s own.
Provision of Turnitin service.
All lecturers are required to use the Turnitin service that BINUS INTERNATIONAL has subscribed to. Turnitin accounts are issued on request to ELS.
CLIL Support
Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) courses allow the students to learn English within their chosen subject. ELS provides support for lecturers to develop students’ language abilities in a content-driven context. English Clinic
Lecturers can recommend students to English Clinic for remedial help. They can then base their ‘Class Participation’ scores on completion of a series of predetermined sessions.
English Focus
This course allows lecturers to identify areas of English that they want to develop and they can then attend ‘focus’ sessions to work on language development.
General Language Support
English can be difficult for second-language speakers and ELS recognizes that lecturers might find themselves wondering about some of the ambiguous parts of the language. ELS is available for these queries. There are NO ‘stupid questions’.
