Michael at TMII

On November 26, 2025, Michael visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) to continue his community development program, delivering a practical and inspiring session to 30 frontline staff. The focus of this training was “Welcoming Visitors & Giving Basic Information,” a vital skill set for staff who interact daily with both local and international guests.

The session emphasized the importance of greetings, polite expressions, introducing oneself, and offering assistance—all essential elements of hospitality communication. Through interactive role-play and guided practice, participants learned how to greet visitors warmly, introduce themselves confidently, and provide clear, helpful information about TMII’s attractions. These skills not only enhance visitor experiences but also empower staff to feel more confident in their roles.

Michael highlighted that effective communication is more than just words—it is about creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Indonesia’s cultural richness. By practicing polite expressions and learning how to offer assistance in English, staff are better equipped to bridge language barriers and ensure that every visitor feels valued and supported.
