Frank at TMII

On December 3, 2025, Frank continued our community development program at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) by delivering a session to frontline staff on “Handling Questions & Clarifying Information.” This training was designed to strengthen staff confidence in responding to visitor inquiries, ensuring that every guest feels heard, understood, and supported.

The session emphasized three key skills: listening carefully, confirming understanding, and answering common visitor questions. Through interactive exercises, staff practiced active listening techniques—paying attention not only to words but also to tone and body language. They learned how to politely confirm what a visitor means before giving an answer, reducing misunderstandings and building trust.

Frank also guided participants through examples of typical visitor questions, from directions to facilities to explanations of cultural exhibits. By rehearsing clear and polite responses, staff gained practical tools to make communication smoother and more effective. The training highlighted that good communication is not just about giving information—it’s about creating a welcoming atmosphere where visitors feel valued.
