On August 13, 2025, the Language Center at BINUS @Senayan hosted another series of the 2025 EPSO Speaker Talks. This year’s theme, Culture Through Experience, explored the dynamic relationship between language and culture. While distinct, language and culture are undeniably intertwined—understanding and experiencing culture helps individuals use language more appropriately in specific contexts.

The final session of the EPSO Speaker Talks 2025, hosted by the Language Center at BINUS @Senayan, concluded the series with an inspiring personal story. Daanisha shared her journey of studying at UNSW, Australia, as part of a double-degree program offered through BINUS.

Daanisha spoke candidly about the challenges she faced while adapting to a new environment—navigating cultural differences, academic expectations, and the realities of living abroad. Yet, she also highlighted the immense growth that came from these experiences:

  • Resilience and adaptability in unfamiliar settings.
  • Intercultural learning through daily interactions with peers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Personal and academic development that broadened her perspective on global education.
