DSCN7745The 2014 Academic English 2 Inter-class Debate champions were crowned on Wednesday June 11. They were Andreas, Jeffery and Jessica from class 02PAB, here seen with their lecturer Charles, the ELS Manager Frank, and the lovely Mita.

They were up against very  worthy opponents from 02PBU, who put up a very strong fight as the government team, while Andreas and the gang were the opposition team. The motion for this final debate was ‘This house will make literacy a requirement for voting’. 

This year’s debate championship had 13 groups of participants from the Academic English 2 classes. They were chosen from the internal debating they had in their class, and the winners of each got to represent their class in the championship.
