Screen Design Development
DESCRIPTION
For my final Blender project, I chose to do an animated title sequence. Initially my interest in utilizing 3D software's in my art has always been to enhance my typography work and to bring my artwork to "life" through motion design. Particularly as I venture into my professional career as a designer making animated poster designs and moving text is a skill, I want to be fluent in and provide for my clients. I have saved multiple design references to 3D text design or typography motion in my Pinterest and personal online archive for a very long time so I've been looking to expand my capabilities.
I saw this final project as an opportunity to challenge myself in the realm of animation through keyframes in Blender. Whilst I have used applications such as Adobe Illustrator in the past to inflate or expand text using chrome textures, it is definitely limited. Due to this I decided to rework an old project I did in semester 2 that was supposed to be my "visual identity". As a designer, I am particularly drawn to the aesthetic appeal of chrome in graphic design. The reflective quality and its application on 3D shapes is something I wanted to revisit also to reflect my growth during my time as a graphic design student in BINUS.
Additionally, I could use this opening title for my own personal use as it has a logo of my name

The stylized 3D design i focused on emphasizes exaggerated forms, vibrant colors, and unique textures, aligning perfectly with the aesthetic of Cookie Run: Kingdom.

DESCRIPTION
Ethnic, I wasn’t able to think of one. At first I thought about doing the Japanese
seigaha pattern however no luck since I did not have any idea on how to morph
it into other things so I decided to change my ideas. I was going to pick african
or native American patterns but somehow I think that its too mainstream? So I
thought about dreamcatchers since its native to Americans too and I thought it
can be considered “Ethnic” so I go with it. Secondly, I chose Mandala since even
though it is a spiritual symbol for the Hindu and Buddhist, it originated from
India. Even many Indian artists painted mandalas so it is a part of the Indian
religion culture. I do find colors of mandalas online and saw this cute color
combination so I tried to recreate the colors.
As for art deco, I did not have any idea. However, I came across this nice pattern
with the letter O on it, which is my letter for typography. So the final work is
highly inspired by it. As for the other art deco, I remember an art deco artist
called Mads Berg and I find his style and work unique. I saw an artwork of a boy
and the hand somehow reminds me of a hand holding a fan. This idea also
comes when I wanted to create a luxurious looking art deco. However, I think
that I misplaced the ring.
Psychedelic, when I searched for ideas I saw many eyeballs and since it suits
my letter, I’m able to create one out of it. The other psychedelic, I wanted to do
space psychedelic until I came across this unique artwork from Adobe Stock.
So I am highly inspired by it and even tried to use the art style from the work.

DESCRIPTION
I wanted to express a more personal side of myself such as my
likings, interests and roots. Firstly, for “typography” I chose to do the letter
“D” ad that was the First letter of my dad's name. Furthermore, using Arabic
ethnic patterns to show my birthplace in the Middle east with geometric
patterns and the red famous “keffiyeh” from the traditional Saudi clothes.
For geometric I chose a “diamond” as it can be interpreted as both fancy
and “a diamond in the rough” inference. Particularly, using the “peacock”
bird inside the diamond shape as it is dominant in all genres. Lastly, Object
is a “butterfly” to show of blooming and my transition into growing while
in university. I really wanted to use the object to also compliment the
genres. Overall, I enjoyed this project as it was very challenging. I am still
not used to digital so this Finals taught me a lot about digital media and
software's. Due to the fact that I struggled with my personal life during
this project it was definitely hard to manifest and combine ideas, usually I
am very out of the box but for this concept I feel left inside the box as I am
reflecting and the artwork is a reflection of me trying to find my style,
place and journey

The name "Ganymede Flight" holds two key meanings. "Ganymede," the largest moon in our solar system, represents how women are often seen as reflections of men rather than independent figures. In mythology, Ganymede was taken to Olympus by Zeus, symbolizing elevation and transformation. Consequently, my band will be an all-female group.
The concept of "Flight" symbolizes liberation and movement, representing women breaking free from traditional roles and exploring new horizons, similar to humanity's quest to explore space.
Combining these two ideas, I decided to create Ganymede Flight as a band featuring strong female characters with a femme fatale concept.

This project focuses on the creation of visual artwork specifically designed for vinyl long-play (LP) records and digital album releases under an independent music label. By blending creative illustration, typography, photography, and graphic design elements, the album cover art aims to capture the spirit of the music and communicate its essence visually. For an independent label, cover art plays a crucial role in establishing a distinctive image in a competitive music market, supporting promotional efforts, and enhancing the listener’s emotional connection to the music. Drawing for Design
DESCRIPTION
Exploration of how traditional and digital drawing techniques serve as powerful tools in the design process. In this context, drawing is not just about artistic expression—it's about ideation, problem-solving, communication, and planning.
This body of work showcases a range of drawing styles used in the early and middle stages of design thinking. From rapid concept sketches and mood boards to detailed renderings and storyboards, each piece reveals how visual thinking helps translate abstract ideas into tangible, creative solutions.
Whether used to map out a layout, test a composition, design characters or environments, or communicate a user experience, drawing remains a vital foundation in the design workflow. Students were encouraged to push their boundaries and discover how their personal drawing style can enhance their design identity.
