GAME COMPETITION 2019

| 1. | CONTEST | ||
| The contest is organized by GameLab BINUS University International and is open from 14th of October 2019. Entry submission closes on the 27th of November 2019 23.59 WIB. The winners will be announced on 30th of November 2019 and are required to present on 5th of December 2019 (GameLab Festival). | |||
| 2. | GAME | ||
| a. | The entries are submitted before the closing date. | ||
| b. | The game never been published | ||
| c. | The topic of the game is free. | ||
| d. | When submitting your game, at least the following will be required: | ||
| O | A working build of the game (single file .capx). | ||
| O | A letter (softcopy, pdf) from their school that stated their study in that High School. | ||
| O | Basic information of the game (name, short description, number of players etc.). | ||
| e. | The team owns full rights to their game. The organizers reserve the right to use images, video and text material of the game for the purposes of marketing the competition and the games. | ||
| f. | Teams submit a game using Construct2. | ||
| g. | Teams can submit a game using existing content and materials, but teams must own full rights to use those assets. | ||
| h. | Teams must ensure that their games do not break any law. | ||
| O | The game may NOT contain any content that is sexually explicit, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group. | ||
| O | The game may NOT contain any content that promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) or a particular political agenda. | ||
| O | The game may NOT contain any content that is obscene or offensive. | ||
| 3. | ENROLLMENT | ||
| a. | Created a game application using Construct2 (https://www.scirra.com/construct2) | ||
| b. | The participant submitted their game thru binusgamelab@gmail.com. | ||
| c. | Only for High School Students – 1 team maximum 5 students, 1 teacher (as supervisor). | ||
| d. | No limitation on the number of team from one school. | ||
| e. | By registering for the competition, the participant allows GameLab BINUS University International to contact the participant via e-mail about matters related to the competition. | ||
| 4. | JUDGEMENT CRITERIA | ||
| The games will be judged based on the following aspects: | |||
| a. | FUN | ||
| O | Is the game fun to play and able to keep a player interested? | ||
| O | Are the objectives of the game easy to understand? | ||
| b. | FEEL | ||
| O | Is the art style of the game consistent with the gameplay? | ||
| O | Do the controls for the game feel right? | ||
| O | Does the game run well? | ||
| 5. | PRIZES* | ||
| First Winner – IDR 3,000,000,- | |||
| Second Winner – IDR 2,000,000,- | |||
| Third Winner – IDR 1,000,000,- | |||
| *All prizes will be deducted by government tax (5%) which will be borne by the winners | |||
