danielDaniel Fung Shuen Sheng, is the Vice Chairman Medical Board at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore since 2009. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, National University of Singapore and the Division of Psychology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University. He has received several awards including the NHG Distinguished Achievement Award in 2010, PS21 Star Service Award in 2009, National Council fo Social Services long service award 2008, the Singapore Children’s Society Silver Service Award 2007. Dr Fung is the Secretary General of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions and the Immediate Past President of the Asian Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions. He is also the President of the Singapore Association for Mental Health. Dr Fung is also a member of the school board of Paya Lebar Methodist Girl’s School. He is a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator for various studies involving innovative clinical interventions on disruptive behaviour disorders and anxiety disorders. He is also the Vice chairman of the Clinical Research Committee of the Institute of Mental Health. Dr Fung conducts clinical research on disruptive behaviour disorders and emotional disorders. His recent work involves a randomized controlled trial of fatty acids supplementation and social skills training for children and adolescents with disruptive behaviour disorders. His current interests include new media interventions for psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents. Dr Fung has been involved in over 10 research grants and is a PI in several NMRC funded grants. He has coauthored 40 research papers, more than10 books and 5 book chapters. Dr Fung is the programme director of REACH (Response, Early interventions and Assessment in Community mental Health), a community based mental health programme which is part of the National Mental Health Blueprint.

Alfred Boediman is CEO of Samsung R&D Indonesia.  Alfred is an experienced senior management who has implemented changes to answer business and technology needs across a number of areas in the Software R&D and Telecommunication sectors. Alfred also an Adjunct Professor in University of Chicago Graduate School of Business – Asia Campus, he holds degrees from University of Indonesia, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, RIT and UC Booth School of Business. His postdoctoral research focuses on examining the neuro-statisical approach in derivatives financial exchange with combination of multi layered market sentiment. In SRIN, Alfred’s interest and training in technology research for cognitive socio-behavior and machine learning area. Outside SRIN, he is also advisor for Polsky Center of Entrepreneurship in the University of Chicago, while enjoying organization activities like biking, archery and cooking in his free times.
