As part of our Tridharma tasks as lecturers, on 12 October 2020 we conducted online community development sessions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) using Zoom platform. The first session on financial accounting topic was delivered by Ibu Yanthi Hutagaol and Ibu Valentina Tohang. In this session, participants are introduced to the accounting cycle concept and how this can be done using simple accounting apps. The second session, delivered by Ibu Amelia Limijaya, discussed the concept and importance of budgeting in business. Next, on the third session, Pak Ikhsan Modjo delivered the topic of startup financing with the hope that this can help prepare SMEs owners to make proposals and get funding for their business. As we all know, SMEs are important in supporting a nation\u2019s economy, however, this strategic role of SMEs usually does not come with their ability to maintain their business. Therefore, we hope that the knowledge gained through this session can assist SMEs to better manage their business.<\/p>\n
