BINUS University Appoints Professor Yanthi Rumbina Ianova Hutagaol as Chair in Accounting and Corporate Finance
Jakarta, – 29 April 2024 – BINUS University is proud to announce the appointment of Professor Yanthi Rumbina Ianova Hutagaol as Chair in Accounting and Corporate Finance. Prof. Hutagaol was officially inaugurated during a ceremony held on 29 April 2024 at the university’s Anggrek campus.
In her inaugural speech, titled “Integrated Reporting Based on Circular Economy: Blockchain Technology Synergy,” Prof. Hutagaol presented her vision for the future of accounting and finance. She emphasized the importance of integrating sustainability principles into financial reporting and the potential of blockchain technology to enhance transparency and accountability.
Prof. Hutagaol is a renowned expert in accounting and finance with extensive experience in academia and industry. She has held various teaching and research positions at leading universities in Indonesia and abroad. She is also prolific, having published numerous articles in top academic journals.
Prof. Hutagaol’s appointment is a significant milestone for BINUS University. She is the 31st professor inaugurated at the university and the first female professor in the BINUS International Undergraduate Program. Her expertise and leadership will undoubtedly contribute to advancing teaching and research in accounting and finance at BINUS University.
