Presentation on Regional Infrastructure Forum Papua-Maluku 2023

On July 5th, 2023, BINUS’s Finance International Program Faculty Member, Dr. Ikhsan Modjo, was invited to present a paper virtually on the Regional Infrastructure Forum for Papua and Maluku. The forum took place in Ambon and was organized by The Ministry of National Planning (Bappenas). During the presentation, Dr. Ikhsan Modjo discussed the importance of regional infrastructure development in Papua and Maluku and its potential impact on the region’s economic growth and social development. He provided examples of successful infrastructure projects from other regions that have increased investment, created jobs, and improved living standards. Dr. Modjo also highlighted the challenges and opportunities in implementing infrastructure projects in remote and geographically challenging areas like Papua and Maluku, emphasizing careful planning, coordination, and community.
