Research Sharing Session with the University of Newcastle Business School

On 13 July 2022, a session was held by Newcastle Business School, Australia (our two-degree program partner) and Binus to provide an opportunity for sharing of research interests and collaboration between colleagues in both institutions. This event is part of an immersion visit from Binus to UON, in which four of our students attended the graduation ceremony.

In this sharing session, one of our faculty members, Yanthi Hutagaol-Martowidjojo, PhD. presented her research on earnings quality and valuation of Indonesian listed firms, co-authored by Professor Aljoša Valentinčič of Ljubljana University, Slovenia. This ongoing project is a continuation of previous papers published in Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting and Australian Accounting Review.

Three other presentations were also delivered by Dr. Alex Taylor and Dr. Zhongtian Li from Newcastle Business School, and by Dr. Marko Hermawan from Binus.
