The Significance of Technology and Digital Game-Based Learning in Accounting Education: A Narrative Literature Review
This paper was driven by the limited discussion of technology in accounting education literature. Thus, using a narrative literature review as its method, this study discusses the need of infusing technology in accounting education. This study also suggests using digital game-based learning as a practical way to embed technology in accounting classrooms. Additionally, this research also provides guidelines and examples of the implementation of digital game-based learning. It concludes that future research may use this study as a foundation to examine the empirical effect of technology, digital game-based learning, and accounting education.
