Guest Lecture at Finance Ecosystem and Technology Class

On 3 March 2021, we welcomed our alumni, Jeffrey Suryadi, to deliver a guest lecture session at Finance Ecosystem and Technology class on the topic of Digital Banking. Jeffrey currently holds the position of digibank Business Planning Manager at DBS Indonesia.

In this session, Jeffrey shared his perspectives on the five key factors to thrive in the “congested” financial market:

  1. Focus on customer experience
  2. Service automation
  3. Personalization of every customer’s communication
  4. Use of AI, big data, and cloud
  5. Development of ecosystem and partnership

In addition, he also shared his views on the digital bank intense competition here in Indonesia, especially with the recent collaboration between several banks and fintech companies. With his rich experience in the digital banking sector, we believe Jeffrey’s sharing will widen and enrich our students’ perspectives on the current development in the related field so that they can relate what they gained from this session with the materials they received in this class.
