International Lecture Week Series – Questionable Ethics in Finance

As part of international lecture week series, on 19 October 2020, our students attended a session on Questionable Ethics in Finance topic, which was delivered online via Zoom by Prof. Dr. Laxmi Remer, Vice Dean of Cologne Business School (CBS, Germany). In this session, Prof. Laxmi outlined some of the background factors that eventually give rise to the socially responsible investments that are now becoming more popular. The participants are asked to ponder that perhaps it is time to ask themselves what their money should really be doing and not just focus on the return gained.
