Our Alumni is the #1 Indonesia Young Women Future Business Leader 2020!

We are very proud to receive such a great news that Melisa Irene, our alumni, is the #1 Indonesia Young Women Future Business Leader 2020, organized by SWA Magazine. This exciting news was published in SWA 12| XXXVI | 18 June – 1 July 2020 edition. Melisa is currently holding the position of a partner (the youngest one) in East Ventures, where she has been involved in various projects.

The participants of Indonesia Young Women Future Business Leader 2020 are assessed in 5 aspects: problem identification clarity, strategy and breakthrough to achieve the targets, strategy implementation, communication skills, and previous achievements. There are 4 judges of this event: Tommy Sudjarwadi (Head of FranklinCovey Indonesia), Neneng Goenadi (Managing Director Grab Indonesia), Wiwiek D. Santoso (Commissioner PT Marga Mandalasakti), and Effendi Ibnoe (Member of Remuneration Committee and Human Resources Development in Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation or Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan).

The event committee selected the participant candidates through various channels. To be eligible, participants must be a professional woman holding at least manager position or a young entrepreneur, and no more than 35 years of age. Participants then send their papers or pointers to the committee, that explain the strategy or breakthrough to answer business challenges in the company that they work in, along with their CV and career journey. The judging process consists of 2 steps, the first step is desk (paper) evaluation. The selected finalists are then asked to conduct a presentation in front of the judges for step 2 of the judging process. After going through the judging process, the overall score that Melisa got was 85.50, which puts her in the first rank of the assessment process.
