March 16 \u2013 Gaming developer Minecraft announced a collaboration with French apparel brand Lacoste.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Minecraft x Lacoste<\/span><\/b> apparel collection offers a range of activewear, accessories, and footwear that can be worn mix and match for a comfy everyday outfit. The design was inspired by the Minecraft aesthetic for this Spring\/Summer 2022 collection. The two brands collaborated on creating a world for gamers and fashioners.\u00a0 It started with an invitation to play that led to mutual aid as an opportunity to discover oneself.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An exploration in the virtual and in the real world was celebrated in this collaboration. Merging the two brand codes, new essentials were made available with a focus on the uniqueness of each. Minecraft has long been linked to milticoloured landscape maps that gamers have been immersed in and Lacoste has been in the industry with its crocodile logo. The aesthetics of both brands were mixed resulting in the genesis of this collaboration and expressed throughout the pieces.\u00a0 In the apparel, the crocodile logo was redesigned and pixelated by the Minecraft Creative Studio. The duo joined offering relaxed separates, hoodies, and tees towards a sportier piece suited for the court or an esports lounge.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Minecraft x Lacoste<\/span><\/b> also comes in crocodile island map taking the classic logo of the fashion brand that was launched at the ESpot Paris. Croco island is a Lacoste stamped world filled with tennis-themed mini games.\u00a0 The collection is available at Lacoste\u2019s webstore in March 22<\/span>nd<\/span> and croco island map is available as downloadable content in Minecraft.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
