Competing as RMIT students, the duo showcased their technical prowess and creativity in a contest designed to address real-world challenges faced by students.<\/p>\n<p>The RMIT Hackathon invited RMIT students from all disciplines to work in teams and build innovative solutions around the theme of \u2018Improving Student Experiences.\u2019 Teams consisting of 2-5 members were tasked with developing a prototype that could improve the lives of students. These projects could take the form of websites, web applications, games, or any other software-related implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Participants were challenged to create innovative, technically feasible solutions that addressed clearly defined problems in student life. The ideal projects combined creative approaches with user-friendly implementations, demonstrating both creativity and technical proficiency. Teams were also required to produce a fun explanatory video to demonstrate the use and potential impact of their solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Peter and Tiffany\u2019s winning project stood out from the competition for its innovative approach and clear value to students. Their solution, which fits perfectly within the theme of enhancing student experiences, not only addressed a significant issue but also demonstrated long-term viability and scalability within the educational context.<\/p>\n<p>The project, praised for its technical sophistication and user-centric design, exemplified how creativity can meet functionality in solving real-world problems faced by students.
