Over the past few years, Kreiss organization has strived to create amazing gaming events with a prestigious amount of quality, both in terms of prize pool and execution of the event. FIFA is a football game that has been played all over the world mostly by the younger demography, which includes mainly university and college students who in conjunction are fond of the football sport in general. Although there are several gaming events in Binus International itself, one has yet to produce a stunning quality that could represent Binus itself and the satisfaction of the players involved, as professional teams and players competing on those events produces negative feedbacks about the execution of the event itself. This is mainly due to the lack of experience and management, as well as a diverse amount of games that is held makes it difficult for multitasking. Therefore this year, Kreiss organization would like to corporate with BASIS to create the best and largest FIFA competition in the history of University gaming in all Indonesia, to establish Binus as one of the best university worldwide not only in terms of academic, but also in fun and hospitality events. The prize pool will be a minimum of 20 million rupiah on a single FIFA event with professional gaming setups suitable for the players, in which the event will be held for 3 days with a “break” in between. This is a chance to promote Information System to the world, subsequently creating connections and bonds with other university students outside Binus through this fun and hostile event.
This competition is divided into 2 sections, in which the qualifying round is held on Wednesday, 30 November 2016 to find and select the best 8 players to compete in the main event. This qualifying round will be held at JWC campus in Room 306-307, with 8 professional gaming setups to be use by the players. The remaining 8 players will then be interviewed and will be captured by the media, to be introduced and shown later during the main event. Therefore, there will be a “review” day on Thursday, 1 December 2016 to create the necessary media preparations for the main event, as the event will also be broadcasted live throughout the internet. This day also serves as a review to improve the quality and things needed to be fixed or maintained from the previous qualifying round based on the player’s feedback. This day is crucial to provide the best user experience for both the spectators and the players involved. On Friday, 2 December 2016 will be the main event of this competition. It will be held in the main JWC lobby, with professional MCs and commentators to guide through the audience throughout this event. The main event will be broadcasted live throughout the internet, and will be compiled by the media. The 8 remaining players will then compete for the grand prize, and the top 3 players will
receive the prize from our invited speaker, who will also give an opening speech to officially start the event.
This event does not request any form of budget to Binus and is a non-profit individual event, with extra budget or profit if found will be saved by the BASIS treasurer for future usage. However, we will be requiring the assistance of the equipment such as chairs, tables, rooms, and projectors, as well as the main lobby setup for the main event. All budget will be acquired through sponsors and other affiliations in the form of cash and gaming equipment. We believe by combining the strength of BASIS as a whole, as well as the experience of Kreiss organization in creating quality event, we will be able to bring this event forward into an even greater scale and magnitude for Binus International and Information System.
