About the Program
Our Finance Program (international program) provides its students with unerring knowledge and practical skills in Accounting and Finance within international and national contexts. The program is the first in Indonesia to adopt the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in all Financial Accounting teaching materials. It implements the approach of student-centered learning (SCL) and problem-based learning (PBL) to improve critical thinking and business communication skills. The program has strengthened its curriculum with more focus on Finance courses, with various Double Degree programs from prominent overseas university partners.
The program designs its curriculum and environment to provide students with an excellent learning journey, providing experiences during their time at the university that encompass both academic and personal development. This journey includes several key phases, such as orientation and adjustment (Freshmen Year Program), academic development, personal growth, experiential learning, networking, career preparation, and beyond graduation.
As for personal growth, the program aims to develop the students’ professional and soft skills. The teaching delivery within the program integrates teaching methods that build effective personal, social, and ethical professional conduct. Team building within and across disciplines is a unique feature at BINUS UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL.
The program accommodates the need to develop teamwork. It emphasizes the importance of advanced ICT (Information and Communication Technology) skills through courses embracing an innovative pedagogy approach, the recent development of artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and financial-related technology. The approach is developed according to industry needs and the international academic community. The rigorous the courses are also being assessed gradually by professional designation in accounting and finance to keep up with industry updates.
