BINUS INTERNATIONAL Computer Championship





BITMAP is short for BINUS INTERNATIONAL Computer Championship. BITMAP is a prestigious national computer competition held in Indonesia. This event will be fully conducted using English Language in BINUS JWC Campus, Jakarta. It will officially be held by BINARY, BINUS INTERNATIONAL Computer Society, as the club of Computer Science major in BINUS INTERNATIONAL.

The purpose of BITMAP is to establish a full-english computer competition in order to be used as a stepping stone for participants to compete in the international level of IT competitions worldwide. It also ranges from 5 competition categories, which are competitive categories worldwide, so that BITMAP will become a chance for participants to experience an international level of IT competition.

The year 2012 will be the second year of BITMAP. It comprises of 5 Competition Divisions and 9 Organizational Divisions. In the first year of BITMAP, it was only opened for high school students, while in the second year, it will be opened for both high school and university students. The competitions will be held both on-site and off-site.
