Jeff Ardian, the Youngest Graduate on the 54th Binus International Graduation Ceremony

At 20 years old, Jeff Ardian already graduated from BINUS University. It makes him easier to set his sight and plan for the future. “I’m quite satisfied for earning bachelor degree at such a young age,” said the Accounting and Finance graduate.

For Jeff, proper mindset will determine our achievement in studying. He adds that the correct mindset is not to get high grades, but to understand what the professors teach. By mastering the materials, we can apply the knowledge in professional world. “Even though I admit that grades are important, by my focus wasn’t on them. For me, understanding every subject is much more important so I can implement my knowledge upon my works rather than being the best student in class. I think it is simple but many students forget about it,” he said.

Apart from his busy schedule in classes, Jeff was also active in several campus activities. He admitted that these activities gave him a good experience. “I was taking part in several events as one of the members and as a result, I had to stay up late to finish my tasks. It taught me many valuable experiences of doing all the things together with my fellows. I can still recall the feeling that we had after finishing our duties and we got what we deserved,” he adds.

For Jeff, his time in college is not only about studying hard in classes, but also learning how to communicate, problems solving, and other soft skills. After his graduation, he plans to start working in financial services such as investment management or corporate banking.
